Zone Sync Failed Total Connect 2.0 - Common Issues

These steps are organized from most common to least common 

Common Issues Preventing A Zone Sync:

1) Communicator does not have proper signal strength

• If your panel does not have proper signal strength it can fail a zone sync by losing the connection

2) Too many troubles on the panel

• Most Honeywell panels are able to view troubles by pressing * on the virtual keypad, these troubles can prevent a zone sync from occurring

3) Data Wires are not connected properly

• The wiring within the panel may not be properly set up, typically the data wires are inversely wired when this happens. This causes an issue because the panel cannot communicate with the communicator

4) Not updated communicator

• The communicator you have installed may be an out-of-date communicator that is no longer supported for a number of reasons

5) This can sometimes be a back-end issue
