Help CenterIf you have a Qolsys IQ Panel 2 wireless security system and are wondering why you can't program in your Qolsys QZ-8100-840 image sensor into the panel we have some troubleshooting tips for you.
1) From the factory, the IQ Panel 2 doesn't come with the image sensor daughterboard which is needed in order to communicate with an image sensor. Look in the back of your IQ Panel 2 to see if you have yours installed. If not then you will have to obtain the product (Qolsys QC0003) and watch our installation video above.
2) If attempting to pair an image sensor, make sure you have the daughter-card attached and installed properly.
Test the IQ Panel 2 image sensor card from the panel by going to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code"2222" > System Test > Daughter Cards Test.
