To turn off the cover tamper of a Honeywell 5800 device simply close the device making sure the cover tamper has been closed. Once you have completed this you will need to enter in your master or other user code into the Honeywell LYNX Plus L3000 followed by off. Lastly, enter your master or user code followed by off for a second time. This should clear the cover tamper on your Honeywell LYNX Plus L3000 wireless security system.&nbsp;&nbsp;
