Can the Garage Door Status be Viewed and Controlled from the IQ Panel 2

The ability to see, open, and close the garage door opener (GDO) from a Qolsys IQ Panel 2 depends on the type of garage door control solution and security panel the user has.

For a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller GD00Z

If the user has a Linear Z-Wave Garage Controller, local control of the garage door is compatible with the following panels:

Qolsys IQ Panel 2 - The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 allows users to interact with Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and garage devices locally at the panel. 

Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus - The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus allows users to interact with Z-Wave lights, locks, thermostats, and garage devices locally at the panel. 

For a LiftMaster Internet Gateway (828LM) or Universal Wi-Fi Hub (821LM)

If the user has a LiftMaster Internet Gateway (828LM) or Universal Wi-Fi Hub (821LM), it is not possible to control the garage door opener from a IQ Panel 2. This is because the GDO control integration is between the Alarm.com and LiftMaster systems, so there is no direct communication between the garage door operator and the security panel.
